Safe & Sound

In case any of you were wondering - we are safe despite the unrest everywhere else.

I thought I would post this article from the Huffington Post -"Qatar: Why Protests Won't Happen Here"

Also, we were fortunate enough to receive a very kind care package in the mail. Thank you (you know who you are) for the great magazines (I was in Rachel Ray withdrawl) and we really needed the Tim Horton's as well (supplies were critically low). When I read the lastest blog post "What are you packing?" from Shamozal it really explained why the items in the box were so needed.

The last update is that Big C is no longer employed by Sterling Water. It happened about a month ago now, they decided to part ways. The job was turning into something different than what C signed up for and it wasn't working for him or for the owner. He is looking for something new, taking it slow and weighing a few options in his mind. It isn't going to be about the first job that comes along this time. It has to be something that he wants to do and that will help him meet his futre career goals. Patience from all - me, family and friends is going to be needed. When he decides what he wants to do or finds the right job...he will let you know.
